Kincaid Mounds Observation Center Dedicated

The new observation and interpretation center at the Kincaid Mounds State Historic Site was formally dedicated and opened to the public on Wednesday, Dec 5, 2007.  Despite the cold, blustery weather, a good crowd of supporters came out to witness the ceremony.

The Kincaid Mounds Support Organization's chairperson Mary Bremer (l) and Paula Cross from the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency cut the ribbon to open the visitors center.
